C'est une blague relative à la section /b/ de 4chan, soit LA section random. Dans cette section il y a de tout, c'est pour ca qu'elle est aussi appelé le "trou de balle de la toile". Contenu hautement sensible, politique, wtf, pédo, porno, dissident, il y a de tout dans /b/.

I just want to say : stop thinking about Paris or toulouse or Provence... best place is north of France.
We maybe don't have the best weather (well, with climate disruption, north of France will soon look like mediterannean cities), but people are far more welcoming.
Bonus : near the center of Europe, it is easy to travel in other countries (Belgium, Neederland, Germany, ... and England with special authorization).

I lived as a kid one hour away from this place, it's true that it's a little lost in the countryside but you will find everything you need in the city itself.
There is an old city center, very nice to hangout when you have free time, and I think quite a lot of foreigners in the university.
No wolves in the area, but the city is famous for the car race which last 24H. There is also one with trucks, motorbikes, etc... And there is also a new stadium there, and concert hall but mostly with french band... so you will find something to do for sure. The food is really good too.
I also remember a tea house which is actually on old french house, with fireplace and everything. Nice place to go for the rainy days.
And with the train station, you move easily.

Le Mans is the best place for you ever. You can be the first Chinese in the world to get good driving skills.
Ask daddy a big Hongbao before to come.

Le Mans is quite an isolated city, but I am sure that it will greatly help you to both focus on your study and find some close friends. There is no main Chinese community out there, therefore you will have to befriend local French. Time to sharp your French skills
There are some great French celebrities who were born and live in Le Mans: Francois Fillon and Steevy Boulay. so you can see how this city is so marvellous...
