A French freight forwarding company based in major Chinese cities including Hong Kong is looking for Sales & Operational Manager based in Shanghai.
As a Sales Manager, you will be in charge of the development of partnerships with:
- Chinese local suppliers
- French buyers based in China
- Freight forwarding agents established in Asia and the Middle east
- Carriers, airlines and trucking companies
Your daily work will consist in:
- Preparing of description of logistics projects processes
- Looking for efficient and reliable transportation solutions that will help both our company and partners to secure shipments
- Proposing rates and tariffs to our customers
- Contacting new prospects for the commercial development of the company
- Organizing technology watch for the account of our customers
As an Operational Manager, you will be in charge of:
- Operations coordination between our local packing sub-contractors, carriers and factories
- Checking products before stuffing and establishing reliable improvement plan
- Bringing a feed back of information sent on a daily basis to our French customers and offices.
- Weekly preparation of financial reports based on incomes and expenses of the week
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- French nationality / French native speakers respectively are preferred
- Degree in Logistics will be a must
- Fluent spoken & written English
- Good command of Mandarin
- At least 2 years of work experience in the logistics & transport industry
- Str0ng organization and planning skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & business negotiation skills
- Loyal, reliable, highly motivated & hard working
