In the frame of R2Games’ development you will be joining an independent Operations structure with the objective of successfully publish Western and Chinese developed mobile games on a Global scale.

As Game Economy Designer the candidate will be dedicated to planning and configuring in-game promotional events, contests and balancing changes to drive monthly goals for the game(s) we publish. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise in designing and tuning free-to play monetization systems from conception, to development, to live operations.
The role is a junior to mid-level position.

The candidates who excels in this position will find a central role on the Operations team, helping with monetization strategies, game mechanics, live operations and will participate all along the decision process to publish a game.

The Game Economy Designer reports to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Functions for the game(s) you will be in charge of
  • Continuously iterate, balance and tune features, gameplay, game economics based on user feedback and player behavior and operations metrics to meet game(s)’ key performance indicators.
  • Define and organize promotion campaigns and events strategy inside the live game(s) to enhance retention and monetization of players. Provide weekly reporting on performance and communicate on future operations to all stakeholders.
  • Introduce creative but impacting communication campaigns outside the live game(s) to increase organic traffic. Develop post-mortem analysis on campaign to evaluate their impact and reproducibility.
  • Maintain game documentation and manage game version (release/update/iteration) as needed throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.
  • Assist in daily tasks to bring game(s) to success.
  • Build comprehensive and in-depth plans, documents, diagrams, flowcharts, and any other necessary documents to communicate, convince, develop and promote the visibility of the team and the game(s) in their markets.
  • Benchmark and analyze game(s)’ market and competition.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics or related field.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written skills required – English will be your working language.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting a live game on Android and iOS.
  • Deep understanding of acquisition, retention, monetization, mobile strategy mechanics and economy systems.
  • Customer awareness.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Str0ng sensitivity to Mobile gameplay.
  • Passion for mobile games, and specifically to build free to play games that the World loves to play.
  • Up to date on the latest mobile gaming trends.
We plan to have someone recruited by March/April.
