    JOB QUALIFICATION


    · Job title: Waiter

    · Native Language: French or Anglais

    · Report to: Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager / Head Waiter

    · Relation with: Kitchen and Management

    · Job description: The most junior position in the operation, the Commis is responsible for the preparation of the back of house, equipment and been the link between the kitchen and the dining room in delivering the food. The highest quality of service must be provided as well as insuring that all defined service standards are followed.
    Following the training provided and according to performance, this role could lead into an Chef de Rang position in the future.


    MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

    · Responsible for delivering food and drinks to guests and service team in the dining roomfollowing standards and processes defined by the Management.

    · Insure good communication with Chef de Rang to create a close working relationship allowing best efficiency of service.

    · Inform Chef de Rang of any special request / dietaries all the way thru the service, insuring that the food served is as requested.

    · Create, maintain and develop a close working relationship with the Management and restaurant team to insure trust and efficiency of the team as well as a good team spirit

    · Create, maintain and develop a team spirit and a working environment where respect, passion, hard work, dedication, personal satisfaction and development are the key words

    · In charge of the preparation (mise en place – MEP) of the back of house and assisting with the dining room insuring that standards, procedures and timings are respected; as well as been fully checked before service

    · Insure that the back of house is perfectly set up and theirduties are checked, beenready on time for service.
