    Green Fortune maintains hundreds of plantwalls and green projects that were designed and built for our clients across 17 countries.

    In China, our clients include Chinese companies, multinationals and governmental agencies. Projects range from green solutions for creative design offices, to the world’s largest interior vertical garden installation for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). We constantly strive to develop innovative ways to better integrate green plants into modern urban life.

    Green Fortune is looking for an intern to support the design of its new projects and the maintenance of current plantwalls.

    Responsibilities will include:

    - Take part in the conception and technical drawing of new projects, under management’s directions

    - Brainstorm with colleagues, propose new ideas and implement when validated

    - Help with the construction of new plantwalls in Shanghai and other cities in China

    - Take care of maintenance of the more complex plantwalls and provide feedback to the management team on related issues (1-2 days/week)

    - Support plant-related issues and quality improvement efforts

    - Assist with marketing work and development of business opportunities (if interested)


    - Enrolled in a University degree in landscape design and/or horticulture.

    - Professional design skills (Auto Cad, Sketchup, CS Suite, Painter). Hand drawing skills appreciated.

    - Academic knowledge of plants and plant care. Familiarity with undergrowth tropical plants appreciated.

    - Creative, open-minded and quality-focused

    - Keen to develop technical and customer service experience in a successful, international innovative business environment

    - Passionate about designing with nature, plants and biodiversity

    - Good English. Knowledge of Chinese/China preferred

    - Enjoy working both within a team and independently


    - Start date: Flexible – constant openings.

    - Time commitment: at least 30-40 hours/week, for around 6 months (minimum 3 months).

    - Daily living allowance and in-kind benefits according to candidate’s experience and skills

    - Possibility to arrange Chinese language classes for motivated interns staying at least 6 months.

    - Additional end-of-assignment bonus will be granted based on intern’s dedication and performance

    - Office: Centrally-located renovated lane house in the middle of Shanghai’s former French concession (Changle Road near Fumin Road, close to metro stations Changshu Road, Jing An Temple and Shaanxi South Road)

    - Work within a small and dynamic multicultural team (half Asian, half European)
