Job Description – Project Manager
The Project Manager manages plans, directs, and coordinates activities of climbing wall projects under contract with the company to ensure that they are completed timely and on budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Works with the client to develop a design and project timeline that meets the needs of the company and the client
· Designs the climbing wall for client per contract and client’s needs.
· Reviews project proposals and bids with sales department for accuracy and capacity
· Develops project schedules and manages projects to ensure on budget and on schedule as committed to the customer
· Works with the installation department to arrange crews & equipment
· Manages suppliers and subcontractors as necessary for on time and on budget completion
· Interfaces with all internal departments to ensure capacity of workflow and that administrative duties are fulfilled.
· Provides technical advice to resolve problems that are project specific.
· Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
· May assist in other areas as assigned and needed to meet company goals and objectives. These may include trade shows, working on installations, etc.
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in construction management or related field
· Excellent management and leadership skills
· Experience focusing on financial tracking of jobs, billing and change orders
· Experience with managing design and engineering processes
· Excellent organizational skills
· Experience using PM/Scheduling software
· Good communication (Verbal and written, Mandarin and English) and interpersonal skills
· Effective problem solving skills
· Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
· Familiarity and competence with the use of Excel; AutoCADand related software
· College degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent is preferred
Climbing experience preferred
· Proficiency in spoken Chinese would be a plus
Package:
· Remuneration: Negotiable, according to experience and skills
· Holydays: 15 days + Chinese national holydays
· Private insurance subscription
· Allowance for a yearly trip to the manager’s country of origin
