    The China Shanghai office of Canadian Immigration law firm is currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and innovative business developer to drive sales and market penetration in China. Reporting to the Manager, this is an autonomous role, providing the right person has the ability to own the “end to end” sales process. You will be a self starter, able to create and grow your own portfolio of prospects and clients, while developing existing client relationships.

    Your Responsibilities:
     Identify and win new business in the defined target markets
     Prepare and execute long-term and short-term sales plans
     Achieve sales targets
     Attend sales meetings and present value proposition to new and existing clients
     Attend networking and other industry events to identify and develop prospects
     Assist with the preparation of business proposals

    To be successful in this role you must have a successful history in sales and clients development.
    - Language: Absolute fluency in spoken Mandarin is a must. Upper intermediate level of English (both written and spoken). Knowledge in other languages considered as an asset.
    - College diploma or University degree.
    - Str0ng experience and track record of successful sales (B-to-C, B-to-B). Candidates with experience working in sales in wealth management, insurance or real estate will be given Str0ng consideration.
    - Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
    - Ability to plan and develop long and short-term sales strategy.
    - Superior problem solving skills. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
    - Excellent time-management, organizational and multitasking skills.
