    FULL TITLE: Online Communication Officer for Saint Gobain Building Distribution China Sourcing Office

    With a network of around 4,200 sales outlets, Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment is Europe’s leading distribution network of building materials, the n°1 European distributor of plumbing, heating and sanitaryware products and the n°1 tile distributor in the world.
    The China Sourcing Office is Saint-Gobain Building Distribution purchasing organization in China. Launched in 2002, the SGDB China sourcing team is a dedicated team of professionals who scour the country to find you the most reliable suppliers and products at competitive prices.
    Being located in close proximity to the Chinese suppliers, the Sourcing team is able to meticulously manage orders from start to finish, and give quality guarantees according to the high standards of the Saint-Gobain group.
    The marketing & communication department based in the Shanghai office has been created in 2010 in order to better promote our activities within the Group and develop new businesses. As for today, product catalogues, newsletter and an intranet website have been created. A new ERP has also been developed to improve efficiency of sourcing processes and service to clients.

    MISSION: Follow up implementation of web-based tools (Web and ERP), ensure the good visibility and image of the Sourcing Office on the different platforms of the Saint-Gobain Group, work on improving internal processes within the office and participate in the overall marketing and communication strategy of the Office to promote sourcing activities to internal clients.

    - Responsible of the website and back office
    o Responsible of the website dynamism – writing news, collecting info from the different teams, updating information, material trends, etc. in cooperation with the purchasing teams
    o Being proactive in website improvements in terms of functions, info and service to users and clients.
    o Direct link with the website development company for upgrades, ideas for improvements, technical follow up

    - Involved in ERP project evolution for the office. Work with internal teams and development companies, follow up the last implementation steps (switch SAP/new ERP), back the teams to use the system in an efficient way, report anomalies, flaws in the processes and ideas to improve.
    + Updating processes books for each job function in the office (structure, translation, implementation, etc.)

    - Develop the visibility and image of the sourcing image: Saint Gobain corporate website, SGBD different plateforms, and contribution to the Group other newsletters, etc.
    + benchmark Group communication cooperation tools and assess if implementation within office is possible

    - contribution to the newsletter edition (French edition – translation)

    And of course, be proactive and come up with ideas to enhance the Sourcing image within the Group.

    A minimum of 2 years working experience is mandatory (in purchasing/sourcing area preferred)

    - Very good Internet knowledge, interest and curiosity in Internet and technologies
    - Good knowledge of sourcing/purchasing processes
    - Excellent written and oral skills
    - Good interpersonal skills
    - Be prepared to push people of the teams to get required information
    - Excellent project management skills: organization, follow up, reporting, etc.

    - Fluent in English
    - Very good level in Chinese (daily communication with local teams)
    - French is a plus

    - interest in communication / marketing/Internet/ industry in China / Chinese-working environment
    - dynamic, on-going and motivated
    - willing to travel in China

    WHEN: to start ASAP

    CONTRACT: full-time job, or final internship study also available, 1 year
