    • [FONT=&quot]Continue to build the VM brand [/FONT][FONT=&quot]and profile [/FONT][FONT=&quot]within Summergate’s distribution network across China[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Raise VME’s profile throughout the F+B sector in Shanghai.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Support the local distributor, (Summergate) and maximise their effort to build the [The Company]’s brand in China across their network for 12 offices. (Currently, expanding rapidly).[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Help develop and implement a national sales plan with Summergate, which successfully services China’s multi-channel wine industry[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Build a local sales network, within the local wine industry experience, to drive sales through direct channels, such as business gifting, banqueting etc. ( Channels Summergate may not currently access) [/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Over time, broaden points of distribution, and gain incremental listings, after initial targeta are met.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Be seen as the face of the Villa Maria brand, in the China market[/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]2. Market Development, Marketing, and Brand building [/FONT][FONT=&quot]skills[/FONT]​

    • [FONT=&quot]Able to research and analyze the current China wine market, constructively[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Build a social media marketing channel for VME, targeting younger / cash rich consumers[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Able to implement a Marketing programme alongside Summergate which drives ‘The company’s’ sales strategy, and effectively builds the label’s brand awareness [/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Is able to build networks, especially online networks of wine industry buyers, trade contacts, and consumers[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Work with various agencies, including NZ Government, and Wine groups, to gain maximum leverage from trade and/or consumer projects and events[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Is comfortable with complexity, and can adjust marketing programmes and personal delivery style according to different channel needs [/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]3. Public Relations and Corporate Relations:[/FONT]​

    • [FONT=&quot]Can speak convincingly to trade and consumer groups, about the Brand and the Company. Can pitch delivery to appropriately fit the target audience[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Can run training programmes and education, inside Summergate, and also externally, for Trade and Consumer groups[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Has experience of running and hosting events, and tasting programmes[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Will be the company’s shop window for Official and Corporate events.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Has experience of working with Government officials;[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Has a network of wine industry contacts, and can further develop networks, regionally.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]4. Commercial and Logistics Management[/FONT]​

    • [FONT=&quot]Build a working knowledge of [The Company]’s Supply Chain, and be able to assist Summergate place orders and expedite these orders as necessary; [/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Be able to trouble-shoot Supply Chain blockages, including shipping, local freight forwarders, customs, and local delivery systems[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Be able to expedite prompt delivery of samples; [/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Candidate Profile[/FONT]

    • [FONT=&quot]Is probably Chinese, and may already have Str0ng links with New Zealand business, Australian business, or affiliated wine producing nation.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Needs at least 5-6 years of experience in the wine industry[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Possesses Str0ng business acumen and judgement. Able to seek [/FONT][FONT=&quot]out[/FONT][FONT=&quot], then seize an opportunity.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Has Str0ng inter-personal and influencing skills; can speak to an audience, and present a Brand convincingly.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Is self-sufficient, and able to work un-supervised. A self-starter.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Have a “teamwork” orientation; can work closely with the New Zealand support team, albeit at a distance.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Very mature; exhibits a high degree of Integrity, and Responsibility[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Has Str0ng inter-personal and relationship building skills. Pleasant.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Able to network effectively, and follow leads.[/FONT]
    • [FONT=&quot]Determination to achieve results. Persistent, and tactful.[/FONT]
