STC is organizing an Olympic distance triathlon training on April 5, Saturday in Shanghu lake, Changshu which is one hour drive from Shanghai.
swim: 1.5km in open water (water quality is good!), wetsuit recommended, must wear a floating bubble.
bike: the big lap around the lake is 17.5km, we can ride two laps.
run: we can run around the small lap, which is 10.7km.
* you can also choose to do less, or just bike & run is also ok
Schedule:
- Gather at STC shop on April 5th morning at 6:30am, load your bikes on the bus (please bring some cover for your bike to avoid scratch), the bus leaves at 6:45am
- Arrive Shanghu lake around 8:30am, start training
- Finish around noon, head to a delicious local restaurant for lunch (if you wonder how good the local food is, just take a look at John McCarthy's expression on the picture
- Finish lunch and head back to Shanghai around 2pm, arrive Shanghai about 3pm
- we will need to confirm the bus by April 2nd(Wednesday) 5pm, if you want to join please send an email to bruce.chang@trisportschina.com with your name and mobile phone before that
- we will need RMB150 deposit for bus booking, you can pay to below account before Wednesday:

Please understand that it's not fair for other people if you taking the slot but not showing up in the end, we will need some kind of commitment. If you don't show up on that day we will still need to charge you RMB150
Cost:
- STC does not charge anything for the training, the actual bus cost will be split by participants. The RMB150 is just for deposit
- Lunch is AA
- STC will provide some water, you might want to bring some energy food by your own
Attention:
- Premium members have priority to join the training
- If the weather is bad then training will be cancelled
- There are always risks involved in outdoor activities, please take care of your own safety and belongings. STC does not bear any obligation to any possible injuries and loss
