    OMERIN is a French industrial group based in the center of France, with 650 employees and a turnover of 130M EUR (2013). It is a leading manufacturer of electrical braids, sheathes, wires and cables especially designed for resisting to extreme conditions (from -190°C to +1400°C).
    In 2008, the group has been rewarded with the 1st prize of the International Company Contest of Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne (2 French regions).
    Our market is international and covers all the sectors (electro-technical, electro-mechanical, metallurgy, industry, chemicals, nuclear, railways, navy, aviation, renewable energy, etc).
    The group enlarges its offer with flexible heating cables and elements and temperature maintenance system (from our subsidiary FLEXELEC), and low pressure flexibles for sanitary, heating and aircon (from our subsidiary IFT).
    To support our international development, we are setting up a branch in Shanghai, China, for which we are opening a position of:
    Country Manager - Business Development
    Directly reporting to our Group Managing Director, you’ll have to prospect, follow up and develop a portfolio of prospects and clients all over China: OEMs, distributors, installers.
    You have to be able to provide advices to our clients for technical solutions. You will interact with different services of the company: export, back office, etc.

    Your mission will also cover research and sourcing of raw materials, semi-finished products and end products for our French factories (about 20% of your time).
    Finally, you will have to manage business development and commercial surveillance/monitoring in order to improve the offer and the products but also to find potential partners (the objective being to set up industrial activities in China).
    After our first successes together, you will have to hire your own team in order to grow OMERIN business scope and activities in China.
    Perfectly fluent in English; Speaking French is a plus
    Post Graduate with Commercial background
    3 to 5 years of experience in BtoB business development for technical products.
    Quality: sales, energy, relation skills, organization, mobility, and rigor.
    Position is based in Shanghai.
