AliExpress is hiring an international team of Content Managers for our global B2C e-commerce consumer marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


§ Work closely with other content managers, product managers, graphic designers, interaction designers, marketers and front-end developers throughout all project development processes.

§ Create and develop concise, engaging content for the website that communicates efficiently and drives traffic.

§ Localize the content of AliExpress.com for your language/region.

§ Help the graphic design team guide the general visual style for your region.

§ Create, edit and proofread web content such as site navigation, instructional copy, product descriptions, SKUs, category names, help center copy, etc.

§ Support marketing efforts by writing content for banner ads, landing pages, EDMs and promotions.

§ Help create high-level concept designs for big sales from a content perspective.

§ Maintain and develop copy guidelines to ensure the website has a consistent language, tone, and voice throughout all channels and wider external marketing communications (EDMs, etc.).

§ Adhere to and update the existing AliExpress.com content style guides in the design pattern library (DPL) to ensure your regional site has a consistent tone to sibling sites across all regions.

§ Help troubleshoot any issues with the website’s performance from a content perspective, reporting any problems and recommendations to the team manager.

§ Ensure the highest standard of content quality and accuracy across all areas of your responsibility.


KEY SKILLS:


3 years+ content management/ experience. E-commerce or agency experience strongly preferred.


Expert with Microsoft Office products.



Ability to harmonize copy and design: must be able to work effectively with graphic and interaction designers.



Take ownership of projects and manage your output from ideation to delivery across the various different departments in the project pipelines that handle your work.


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


§ Related degree preferred but not essential.

§ Must have a comprehensive portfolio of work.

§ Good understanding of information architecture, SEO and best practices of web design.

§ Good creative, independent thinking.

§ Ability to communicate and work across different cultures.

§ Understand the project’s commercial requirements.

§ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

§ Ability to adapt quickly in response to changes in project direction in a highly dynamic environment.

§ Good understanding of visual design.

§ Good project coordination skills, highly team spirited, positive can-do attitude, can work to tight deadlines.

§ Excellent spoken/written English required, spoken Mandarin a Str0ng bonus.

§ A working knowledge of front-end development, interaction design or graphic design a bonus.


The Alibaba China headquarters is located in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China.


This position is based in China. You must be willing to relocate.
