SENIOR MERCHANDISER NEEDED!





We are a Hong Kong & Shanghai based French Sourcing & Trading company, active in various fields such as construction & decoration material, furniture, solar panels, textile, winter sport equipment, etc…. To accelerate our development, we are now looking for talented and motivated persons to join us.


POSITION: Senior Merchandiser (French speaking)

LOCATION: based in our SHANGHAI office, in Pudong

MISSION: The Senior Merchandiser will be in charge of our purchasing activities (sourcing, supplier’s management, logistics) and will be managing our Junior Merchandiser. More specifically, he/she will be in charge of:
- Products and supplier’s Sourcing
- Sampling management
- Supplier’s quotation analysis
- Client’s quotation preparation (in liaison with our Sales Manager)
- Orders follow-up
- Quality Inspection’s planning and booking
- Shipment’s planning and booking with our appointed forwarders
- Handling of administrative paper work such as P/O and shipping set of documents
- Weekly activity reporting to the Managing Director
- Management of our Junior Merchandiser

REQUIREMENTS:
- excellent oral and written skills in English AND French is a must
- mandarin as mother tongue is a must
- university degree
- experience in international trade
- 4-5 years experience in a western Trading company
- strong organizational skills and high reliability when handling detailed routines and processes
- the position may demand traveling to mainland factories to some extent
