GREEN BUILDING CONSULTANT

We are looking for a full time Manager to provide LEED/ Green Building consulting services.
Our aim is to incorporate environmental awareness into business practices: we provide sustainability management consulting services to clients companies to identify the most impactful and cost-effective business strategies to maximize their return on investment.


Mission:

- Set up, develop and expand our Green Services department in collaboration with Business Development to seek out and develop new client opportunities;

- Take management responsibility from start to finish for multiple development projects;

- Provide technical green building consulting services and analysis to support LEED and other green building projects;

- Upon performing assessments, help clients’ companies to identify and implement the most cost-effective and environmentally-responsible green building strategies;
- Generate reports indicating overall sustainability baseline,
- Define plans and solutions for potential improvements,
- Implement the solutions: responsible for overseeing and providing technical support on environmental site investigation and assessing performing subcontractors.

- Monitors appropriate action to ensure compliance with all national, state and local regulations.

- May serve in a lead or supervisory role and train others. Interacts daily with subordinates, functional peer groups and project managers.

Qualifications:
·A Master degree in Environmental Engineering;
·3-5 years of sustainable business engineering/consulting experience is required;
·Very good understanding in energy saving and environmental assessment;
·Good knowledge in building automation/management system (BAS/BMS);
·Hand-on experience in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001;
·Experience on completed LEED / Sustainable Design projects a plus;
·LEED® AP accredited a plus;
·Excellent grasp of business strategy as well as organizational and leadership issues;
·Ability to effectively prioritize and execute numerous project responsibilities;
·Entrepreneurial spirit with negotiation and managerial skills;
·A clearly demonstrated ability to build strong client relationship;
·Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to sell ideas, vision and concepts to others;
·Fluent in English, Chinese a plus: foreigner with good experience in China or Chinese with good experience abroad.


Location:
Based in our Shanghai office.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with the experience the successful candidate brings to the job.
