Applying for a 6-months internship in Import/Export (Commercial / Export assistant)

Je mets ici mon CV et ma lettre de motivation en anglais en vue d'un stage à l'étranger (Etats-Unis, Chine/Taiwan, Japon, Corée ...) pour 6 mois à partir de juillet 2008 jusqu'à début janvier 2009.
Je vais également effectuer juste avant le début du stage un échange universitaire pendant un semestre à Pékin à l'UIBE (University of International Business and Economics 對外經濟貿易大學 / 对外经济贸易大学), ce qui serait pratique pour un stage en Chine.

COVER LETTER

Dear Sirs,

I am currently a sophomore at ESCE (a French leading school of International Business) and wish to complete my third-year internship for a duration of 6 months in the field of import/export as an export/commercial agent in a French or foreign company. This would go from July 15th 2007 to January 7th 2008.

I’m very willing to work and to know more about the methods in an international context, and to broaden my knowledge of international business, my analytical ability, my sense of organisation and creativity but also my language skills.

My first internship in Shanghai developed my interpersonal skills, my curiosity and my ability to adjust to a very different environment.
During student fairs I have promoted my school and informed people.
I have also made a market research on Japan for textile products and met suppliers and customers during the international textile trade fair in Germany (Frankfurt).

I am always on the go and can easily relocate. I really want to work in the future in connection with Asia (China, Japan, Korea …) and the United States as well.

I will also study abroad during a semester in UIBE (University of International Business and Economics) in Beijing from mid-February to July and then follow the course of my studies with my third-year internship; I am therefore naturally interested in a work placement in China.
