Marketing intern in a Project Management company

We are currently looking for a french speaking (native level) Intern in Shanghai, for a 6 months long internship which is to begin in December 2007.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Make cold calls to foreign companies
operating in China using the SIP Database.
Identify companies with plans for development of
facilities in China. Complete the necessary
documents to pass to BDM.

2. Maintain and update database information
based on calls made, look to update with new
information and correct/replace invalid data.

3. Support the BDM in maintaining ongoing
relationships with prospective clients once a
qualified project has been identified. This may
include attending subsequent meetings and
presentations.

4. Utilise individual skills and abilities, such
as IT or languages, on various administrative
tasks, as and when needed.

Essential Competencies
1. Excellent English skills.
2. Excellent telecommunication skills.
3. Ability to learn quickly.
4. Self-motivated, independent and ability to
take initiative.

It must be understood that this is an internship
that is usually occupied by students. The
monetary compensation is very low, 3500
rmb/month.
Students make the most suitable applicant but I
will look at all applicants.
