TALENTED CHINESE FRENCH-SPEAKING ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER NEEDED!

We are a Hong Kong & Shanghai based French Trading company, specialized in construction and decoration material. Thanks to the fast expansion of our business, we are now looking for talented and motivated persons to join us.

POSITION: Assistant Merchandiser

LOCATION: based in our SHANGHAI office, in Pudong

MISSION: The Assistant Merchandiser will support our Purchasing Manager in various aspects of our buying procedure and orders’ follow-up. More specifically, he/she will be in charge of:

- Assisting in the Products and Vendors supplier’s Sourcing
- Sampling management
- Assisting in the Purchasing procedure, such as orders follow-up
- Managing the Quality Inspection’s planning and booking
- Managing the shipment’s planning and booking with our appointed forwarders
- Handling of administrative paper work such as order sheets and shipping documents preparation.

REQUIREMENTS:

- chinese nationality
- university degree
- experience in international trade
- 2-3 years experience in a western Trading company
- strong organizational skills and high reliability when handling detailed routines and processes
- mandarin as mother tongue is a must
- good oral and written skills in English AND French is a must
- the position may demand traveling to mainland factories to some extent
