Volar is the first Philippe Starck designed venue in Shanghai, and if it doesn’t impress, it will surely make you do a double-take. As in the past we will have drink specials throughout the course of the event. Please remember there is no cover charge and no membership required to attend. NextStep Tuesday events are designed for all levels of entrepreneurs to meet, communicate, and collaborate. This week we will be featuring Kate Lorenz, Managing Director and co-founder, of Ark International an Orientation and Housing Company owned and operated by expatriates for expatriates. She has worked in China for over 5 years and has been an expatriate almost her entire life living in Africa and the Middle East for over 18 years. An interesting twist on Ark International is its staff, 100% women. Kate will be on hand throughout the evening to talk about her stories in the challenging real estate arena and pass along some helpful advice in understanding the Shanghai property market.
